Philly For the Day!

- Awesomeness…
If you have ever been to Philadelphia, PA you know the kind of city it is.
As my Mini Trip Series continues, I wanted to share the great little places the City of Brotherly has to offer.
The historical Old City is always a must do, so what about everything else?
BEST philly cheesesteak ever:
CAMPO’S (www.phillyhoagie.com), off Market Street in Old City. Justin was in heaven on earth in this small, relaxed restaurant.
Next up JFK Plaza for the awesome LOVE statue in all it’s glory, BUT just as fabulous as the infamous statue was, the giant Monopoly, Chess, and Domino pieces graced us with their fabulous presence just across the street. It was pure fun. We felt like kids again.

- my Chess piece.

Travelin’ Fun.
Summer has started off right! Justin and I have have managed some very cool and fun trips in the last 3 weeks. The first mini vacation was Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington, NC. With family in tow and a beautiful beach house, it was a great start to summer!
Ocean + Towel= Happy as a clam…
I was even able use my artistic skills to assist with the sand art. My little niece had NO problem acting like a mermaid and even assisted with the jewels (shells)!!

Happy SUMMER!!! More mini trips to come.
Walk the walk.

Paris fall 2008
Walking to the Pantheon this fall was the true way to experience Paris as a city. Had I taken the metro or a cab, well it would have just past me by.
Walking surrounded me. It required effort on my end, and patience to get to my destination, but I was much more satisfied with reaching my goal because of the choice I made. I was able to enjoy the details.
Life is about details and the small choices we make. Walking the walk of life is the surest way to enjoy life.
Walking the walk; one of my daily goals.
